日本マイクロソフト、2012年3月中旬よりIEの自動アップグレードを実施
素晴らしい事だと思います、個人的に。
2012年1月からオーストラリアとブラジルでまず始まったInternet Explorer（以下IE）の自動アップグレードが始まった。
これが日本でも始まるというからウェブ制作社達は嬉しくてしょうがないだろう
但しhttp://technet.microsoft.com/ja-jp/ie/hh859701のニュースを見ると、以下の用である。
対象となる Windows/IE のバージョンと、適用される IE のバージョン*2

自動アップグレードの対象とならない環境
- 自動アップグレードが適用される PC に対する更新プログラムの配信が、以下のような管理コンソールによって一元管理されている
- すでに「Internet Explorer 8/9 自動配布の無効化ツールキット (Blocker Toolkit)*3 」を適用済み
- 過去 Internet Explorer 8/9 の自動更新において、「インストールしない」を選択している

ウェブ制作社もタイトルを見るかぎりだけだと喜んでいたかもしれないが、基本的いIE6、IE7の為の開発はまだまだやめられそうにないみたいだ。
そこで個人的には以下の様にしてもらいたい

また、企業内でMicrosoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)、System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 、Windows Intune 及び Blocker Toolkitを使っていたとしても自動で最新の状態にアップグレードして貰いたい。
それをする事によってウェブ制作者の大多数の仕事が格段に楽になるだろう。もちろんウェブ制作者がクライアントよりの要望でIE6に対応する事によって費用を上げる事はできなくなるが。
ちなみに、 http://www.ie6countdown.com/のサイトを見てみると、現在のところ、日本と韓国が未だに6%のユーザーがIE6を利用している事が分かる。企業とウェブ制作者ががIE6の使用者の6%を占めているといえるだろう。
また、中国は、相変わらず20％以上と高いのはWindows XPの海賊版の利用率が高いからだろうと思える。
当サイトではIEユーザーはFirefox、Chrome、ついでIEと3位に位置しており、IE6のユーザーはやっとIE8（40.17%）、IE9（38.20%）、IE7（9.1%）とついでIE6（8.76%）が4位に入っている。ちなみにIE10（3.78%）は5位でIEの中では最下位である、当たり前だが。
FFは10.0.2のβバージョン等を除き、最新バージョンでアクセスが圧倒的に多く行われているのが分かる。
Chromeは17.0.963.56が他のバージョンに比べて圧倒的に多い。だいたいプーチンの投票数と同じ。
